Sabah - Kota Kinabalu (Day2)

Ahh! June is here and i'm still procrastinating like nobody's business. *grumpy* Everyday i tell myself : I'm going to update my blog but look at the outcome. NONE. *grumpy* Had my first class of Asp.Net course today. Exactly like what i've expected, i doze all the way during the lesson. Hahaha.... And i finally checked my last semester examination results. Oh well, did fairly. =)

Let's stop babbling bout nonsense and continue with my 2nd day of journey in Sabah! Woke up early in the morning and practically RAN towards the buffet and check out whether is my favourite nasi lemak there or not. Lol~ Ok lah, i'm just exaggerating abit but the only reason i can get myself out from bed is this thought k. =p

Not really that nice because the sambal aka chili is different from what i usually had here. Over in Sabah, the sambal is actually sweet. Not enough spicy! But loved the ikan bilis

So right after our quick breakfast, we took a stroll down the famous Gaya Street (something like Petaling Street in KL).

But one thing amazing about the whole street is that IT IS SO CLEAN! Wise move from the authority that placed garbage bins at the strategic spots. Never have the difficulty to find one seriously! Just that it is kinda stuffy and hot as all the tents blocked the wind and it is packed with humans!

Bought key chains as souvenir for my friends.  Here, u can get like so many different things!!! Especially woman accessories, carvings, decorations...........

AND some of them are WEIRD!!!!! No joke.

Durian plants. Wtf! Who would want a durian tree in front of their house?? Wait. On second thought, i think i have few candidates in mind. *faints*

Ohhhh. Have i mention we saw tvb actress shooting her program at the street? Lol~

Next stop of the day? Rent a car and drove all the way up to Mount Kundasang! Seriously LONG journey but every miles are worthwhile. Hehe.... =) Thanks to Jovve's boyfie who volunteered to be our driver for the whole mountain expedition. We stopped by at the side of half way up the mountain for some fresh air and sight seeing. Such a pretty sight! If i'm not mistaken, we can actually see the tip of Mount Kinabalu. Cool right.......

Its always nice to see GREEEEEENNNNN once in a while. Staying in city never gave me much chance to feel any breeze and some relaxing moments. After hanging around there for some time, we continue drove up to a place call the Kinabalu Park.

There, u can actually climb up the mountain provided u are fit enough and prepared for it of course. And obviously we are not up for it so just wonder around the area admiring the beautiful scenery. Hahaha.... Moving on! Poring hotspring!! I thought it was just an area where u can check out what a hot spring is but NO. One of my nightmare.... Jungle Tracking and Hanging Bridge!!! That makes two of my worst enemy. *screams*

But of course, i conquered it. Muahaha~ Don't laugh at me ok. I really suck at this. A group picture filling in my lack of vocab! Aiks.

Enough with the mountains, let me talk about this breathtaking place i've been! Desa Cattle, Dairy Farm! Shoot. Never thought my country actually have this beautiful piece of land!

Not enough budget to go on a trip to New Zealand, i suggest u come here! When this place is still not polluted and populated by more humans than cows. Look at how the cows are being milked! And surprisingly they behaved better than students at school. They lined up properly and didn't cause much chaos. Lol~

Freshly milked milk. Eh, what i'm trying to say. Just drinking yummy chocolate milk right beside the cows that produced it. Hahaha..... one thing, watch out for POOPS!

Really had a great time there. Final pit stop before dinner - Kundasang War Memorial. Its a huge garden filled with stories and memories of those who fought and sacrificed. Interesting for me. And again, beautiful place.

All we can think about after visiting this place is FOOD. Been craving for seafood ever since we planed this trip. Hahaha... finally got ourselves to Salut Seafood Restaurant for dinner. Cheap & delicious to sum up all. =p

The thing about going holiday is that, no matter how bloated ur tummy..... YOU STILL CONTINUE EATING. This is when no one will complaint being fat and go on gobbling up whatever local delicacies that are introduced to them. Last stop of the day, dessert!

Dunno how the kelapa bakar taste like because we choose to try this coconut pudding instead. I loved it. Can i find it around Subang or PJ? Ahhh.....

Alright. Think i need to get some rest now. Mood swings do me no good and waking up early tmr for class. Toodles!

Xoxo.
