Kechara Oasis

The youngest in our group, finally celebrated his 23rd birthday right before all of us turned 24. How i wish i was born in the month of December too! =( As the birthday boy is a big fan of vegetarian, we decided to have something different from what we usually will have for dinner. Kechara Oasis @ Jaya One is one of the popular fine-dining restaurant for vegetarian cuisine. It has a vast variety of choices namely Chinese, Western, Vietnamese and even Tibetan.

#1 - Kechara Oasis Menu

The food is delicious. Especially the fried mushroom. It's a must to try. If you go there in a large group, it's better not to order small dishes as the portion is really very little. We ended up have to order second round to fill our tummy. Nevertheless, you will definitely have a satisfying meal even though the price is slightly high. But judging the environment and the quality of food, worth. Well, i think we're too hungry that night till we didn't bother to take snapshots of what we ordered. Hahaha....

Chinoz On The Park

Just a quick recap before taking my nap! It was baby's 24th birthday celebration last month, so we had a nice dinner at Chinoz, KLCC. The environment was good but was kinda packed with people especially the outdoor area. Most common food served are pizzas with a wide variety of toppings to choose. They also serve pies, burgers, salmon, etc~

#2 - Our dinner

The birthday girl was delighted when she received her present wrapped with 24 layers of papers. Although it took lots of her effort to tear open it. LOL~ Hope u like the new vibrating mascara we bought for you. All my blessing to you baby, throughout the year and your whole life. Happy birthday!

#3 - Bee the birthday girl 1

#4 - Bee the birthday girl 2

I know what's your biggest present and what you treasure most. Our friendship. It's amazing how four of us got close during college orientation week and grew fond of each other till this very moment. And also with the other four guys. The eight of us have been through so many ups and downs during our university life and next up we're going to conquer ALASKA & other states in the US! Can't wait for May to come.

#5 - Esther, Rachel, Bee & yours truly

#7 - Baby

#8 - Group photo 2

One more week to our Phuket & Krabi trip! I wonder how would our group photo will turn out when we had our gathering like 50 years later. I bet no more tight dresses or short skirts. Haha! As for the guys, they probably wear the same type of outfit but there will be extra "lines" on their faces. =p

OK, nap time. Going for the Work and Travel interview tomorrow morning at Shangri-La Hotel, KL. Wish me luck!

The Start Of Something New

It would be nice if i have a cup of hot green tea with me now while i'm blogging. Feeling bit chilling tonight even tough the air-conditioner isn't switched on. The holiday season is over and most people would be back on their feet again to hectic routine. Me, on the other hand have yet to decide on how to spend this coming few months before flying off to the United States. Of course, if everything goes according to plan...

Roughly 5 months of work and travel at the US! I'm excited but nervous at the same time. Wondering how would it be like when i leave my country and how things could change or turn out when i return back home. I pray it would be better. An experience of a lifetime, i was told by my friends who participated in this program. I hope it's my turn to tell stories soon! =)

There are so much to do, so much to learn. I need to keep myself fully occupied and it is time to focus on the things that i've always wanted to accomplish. For example, keeping my blog updated frequently at least once a week, go for a jog at least twice a week, work part-times to cover my expenses, read some fiction / non-fiction books and the list goes on...

Well, at least one from the to-do-list will be checked. I'm updating my blog! Lol~

This morning was slightly unusual than the other days because i'm not having "dim sums" for brunch. Instead, drove down to Bangsar and tried out the Antipodean Cafe. I did a bit of research the night before and most of the reviews are good. And yes, i'm giving this cafe a thumbs-up too! Although you need to queue for about 20 minutes before getting a table, i would say it is definitely worth the wait.

#1 - White flat & Cappuccino

#2 - Big Breakfast (Bacon)

#3 - Big Breakfast (Pork sausage)

#5 - Antipodean Cafe's Menu 2

Good food, good environment and good services. There are so many other choices on the menu i've yet to try! Shall bring my parents here soon. Ahh~ Have i mention the cafe owner is "ang moh" and almost half of the customers are "ang moh" too? Hehe! It would also be a great place to hang out with friends for breakfast / lunch / dinner. Can't wait to visit here again. =)

Yawns~ Time to catch some sleep. Can i ever go to bed before 3am?! Hmmpph.
