Anchorage, Alaska

Day 8

Fuhh~ Been really busy going around town to get some grocers, settling documents / passes and everyday i have to report myself to the airport so that i can get my training done. One more drug test and im officially an eligible worker in the Anchorage International Airport. Hopefully i can start work next Monday, if not i will get really broke by end of this month.... aiks! 

Taking the bus early in the morning daily and the bad experience bout this is not the waiting (scheduled buses that come on time) but to stand the cold wind blowing!! The weather here is freaking cold. So much for summer. Wtf?! And also, i've experienced EARTH QUAKE! 3.1 magnitude a few days ago. Pretty scary when everything is shaking vigorously long enough to be noticed. 

Was suppose to post up some pictures here but i'm too tired right now to edit any of them. So sorry! Will get it done the next time when i have the time and energy. But can always check the pictures out in my facebook! *wink* That's all for now. Hitting the sack soon. Goodnight!

Journey To The United States

DAY 1

Finally i've managed to pack all my luggages without crossing the weight limit. Last minute packing really can kill. And one thing i learn, don't get cheap luggage. It's freaking heavy!! Thanks alot to daddy for staying home today just to help me with everything. Damn, few months down the road i need to pack everything on my own. =( Bad. 

Will be heading to KLIA soon and my first stop would be Singapore! Transiting 6 hours there at the Rainforest Lounge. Hopefully i can have the time to update here. I'm pretty much excited now. Till then. Safe flight to all.

Happy Wesak Day

Few days ago, my parents went and help out at a temple and brought back 3 lotus lanterns! These lotus lanterns are really pretty once they were lighted up as it glows with different colors alternately. So i've decided to just took some pictures of them in conjunction with Wesak celebration yesterday! Hope you all have a great Wesak. =)

Nine Days Left

Oh gosh. I'm leaving my home to the United States of A in just nine days! Somehow it seems like just yesterday i'm planning to go for Work And Travel (WAT) but the fact is everything is settled now and i'm going to work in Anchorage, Alaska soon! I thought i would only be feeling excited and happy but this is not 100% true. I'm quite anxious and worried leaving to a place so far from home where i need to be independent. I'm not saying i can't take this adventure but don't tell me you don't like waking up on your own comfortable bed where mummy already prepared breakfast on the table for you. Five months without my parents to clean up my mess. Arrgh~ Thank goodness i'm going there together with 6 of my best friends, i'm sure this helps! 

Damn the feelings. I'm just going to ignore it and enjoy my life before stepping into the working world. Love my new blog background! More cheerful i think. Maybe i should change my header too. Hmm~ Alright, gonna catch up with the new episode of the drama series and then sleep. Good night!
